The client required an exact Pantone 286C navy — a mid-dark blue that reads differently depending on dye bath temperature, fabric composition, and finishing treatment. Our first two lab dips came back slightly purple-toned and then slightly green-toned under office lighting. The third submission was approved. The back embroidery (14,000 stitches at full back width) required additional backing stabiliser to prevent distortion on the 220 GSM piqué — a standard piqué backing weight is insufficient for a logo this size. We specified a heavier cut-away backing and submitted a stitch-out sample on actual 220 GSM production fabric before the client signed off on bulk.
Client approved pre-production sample (1 piece per size, full embroidery, finished fabric). Bulk of 500 pieces produced, quality inspected, and dispatched. Air freight Amsterdam: 6 days. Client reordered 300 pieces four months later without requesting additional samples.
Reversible sublimation construction requires exact colour calibration on both sides of the garment simultaneously. Any colour bleed at seams shows on the opposite side when the jersey is reversed. We ran a 5-piece pre-production sample set covering two adult sizes and one youth size, with both sides fully sublimated, before bulk approval. The client reviewed the samples in Dubai, confirmed colour accuracy and seam quality, and approved bulk in writing. Youth sizing was also validated on physical samples — UAE youth sizing requirements differ from Indian standard sizing.
Delivered on time for the start of the rugby season. Air freight Dubai: 4 days from dispatch. Club ordered matching training polo shirts 6 weeks after delivery — reorder placed without additional sampling.
Three product categories in one shipment meant three different fabric suppliers and three different production units running simultaneously. Coordinating parallel production tracks to meet a single ship date — while maintaining individual quality standards for each category — is exactly the kind of multi-product order that a single factory cannot handle. We assigned a dedicated production track to each category, ran concurrent timelines, and consolidated all three into one air freight shipment. The anti-slip socks required a custom silicone dot mould to match the client's specified grip pattern — the mould was produced and approved on sample socks before full production.
Full kit delivered in one consolidated shipment — single commercial invoice, single air waybill, single customs entry. The client saved on freight vs three separate orders and received the full kit in time for their season launch. Club staff uniforms (polo shirts + jackets) followed 8 weeks later.
Each of these orders involved complexity that a single factory cannot address: exact Pantone lab dip iterations, reversible sublimation calibration, multi-category parallel production, custom silicone mould fabrication. Fabric Crew is a sourcing coordinator, not a single factory — which means we route each product category to the specialist unit best suited for it, coordinate the timelines centrally, and deliver one consolidated shipment with complete documentation.
This is the model explained on our About page — and these three orders are what it looks like in practice.
